The Bible is true

I know that this title may make some readers smile, those who are convinced that the Bible has no historical evidence. And yet, for 200 years, many biblical narratives have been confirmed by archaeology. You will find here a series of articles that show only the most striking concordances. This page is therefore dedicated to challenging received ideas with evidence, both historical and archaeological, which does indeed exist and show that Bible and History are far from being incompatible. I hope that skeptical readers will be able to delve deeper into these subjects after this introduction.

This study ends at the beginning of the Persian period because the Hebrew Bible itself ends at this time with the books of Ezra and Nehemiah. This study could obviously be extended with the archaeological evidence of the Old Testament which completes the Hebrew Bible with apocryphal books such as, of course, the book of Maccabees and others from the Hellenistic period. As for the New Testament, many books and studies are already devoted to it.
